weird...

so on my driftwood i have tiny little fuzzy white tree like growths. they sprouted up almost overnight. does anyone know what it is and is it harmful?? they are kind of neat so if they arent harmful ill prob just leave them there... its a 55 gallon blackwater aquarium with some plants an angelfish and some cories. soft water 6.8 ph 78 degrees

Probably a fungus or bacteria. Any chance of a clear photo?

When you type the post in the window, scroll down below the window and you will find a buttom "Manage Attachments." Click that, then select the photo from your computer (save it on your computer first, obviously).

Ok sooo I can not get a usable picture at all... So I scrubbed it off and sucked it up when I did my water change
