Water flow relation to water temperature

Does anyone know if in an unheated 5 gallon tank if too much water flow from too powerful of a filter for the tank could increase water temperature? I noticed my water temperature was up to 84 the other day and it wasnt that warm in the house there is no heater in the tank. It usually hangs from 76 to 81. I added an addditinal filer for better aeration and it really went up in the evening. Any thoughts appreciated.

All of my tanks are unheated and they are all warmer than the ambient air temp. I run 2 filters on just about all of them - the filters and lights do heat the water some.
