My fish all died from velvet and I now only have shrimp and a mystery snail(both unaffected). I want to get a red claw crab. Should I do a 100% water change for the crab and other fish? P.S. where should I buy a red claw crab?
If you used any medications/treatments for the velvet, I would do major water changes to remove it, and possibly carbon filtration for a couple weeks too.
I've no idea where to buy livestock, I don't know where you live anyway; check your local fish stores, or online.
And, welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.
