water changes

ok i ve got a ? here for everyone when i do my half changes i ve been using distilled jug water but i was thinking about putting back in there my well water just to cut some money back i have the tank for about a year and i used to use well watei got treatments and things i was just wanting some advice

DECHLORINATED well-water would be fine, as I imagine even better than the filtered Jug water because that water tends to be very clean; it does not have enough nutrients to sustain healthy bacteria until you do a long, nice cycle.

that is a very nice tank im thinking about a 30 g myself for my blood parrot and a couple of oscars

That will not work. Maybe keeping them in there when they are 1", but any bigger needs a bigger tank. They produce a ton of waste, and Oscars reach 14"+. One needs a 75G tank at full size, two would need 125G+ at full size. Also, Blood Parrots reach 10" long and poop as much as a 20-30" fish, so you are looking at incredible filtration methods to keep up with even if you get a tank big enough for everything to house lomg-term, which would be over 150, if not 175 gallons.

Blood Parrots alone need at least a 55G with very good filtration long-term. How big is your BP now?
