Wardley's Sinking Shrimp Pellets...causing gas?

I purchased these pellets today after getting a recommendation that they are great bottom-feeder foods, as I was concerned about my bottom-dwellers not getting enough "leftovers" from the other top swimmers gobbling everything up. Well, the minute I put a couple in, the unexpected happened...my Mollies went crazy over them!! Even 2 fighting over the same pellet! I had purchased these with my rainbow sharks and loach in mind, and the sharks love them as well. But a couple hours later I noticed bloating in a couple of the fish, the albino rainbow shark being the most obvious. I definitely know she's not pregnant, no doubt about it, and I noticed a couple other swollen tummies from the fish who ate these pellets as well.

Is there something in these pellets that cause gas and/or bloating? On a regular basis they have been eating the TetraMin flakes with shrimp, so I don't think the shrimp itself could be the problem...how do I fix it?

I have that problem with my omega one sinking shrimp pellets, I dropped them in for my bottom feeders but my firemouths got to them first causing some major bloating. I heard that soaking them in tank water for a bit allows them to pre swell so they don't expand in the stomach, but it didnt really help much when i tried it they still bloated, so i don't use them any more.
