Update on my 39G

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've been on (with selling house and making preparations to emigrate).

Lucky bugger gets the fish tank included in the deal!

Anyway here's some before and after shots!

And two corner shots

Current stock:

2x ghost cats
1x rainbow shark
1x african butterfly fish
7x silver tips
6x cardinal tetra
5x pristella tetra
5x rummy nose tetra
4x cherry barb
4x checker barb
7x glowlights
2x wild guppy males
1x male and female beta
2x angels

- soon to come
1 or 2 ghost knife fish
5x black widows
some platy's or mollies

Oh ja, no casualties besides a cardinal that ended up in the butterfly's mouth. They both went for the same flake!!!Shame had to euthinase the poor cardinal. his gills were shredded from only 5 seconds in the butterfly's mouth.

Any suggestions? I'm out of ideas!!

I'm not clear was this a tank you had and had to get rid of, or one you acquired? The pics look good. Is this a new tank set up?

Agree, nice looking tank. You're stocked to the max, if not overstocked, especially once you take into consideration the adult size of the fish you currently have. If it were me (and it's not) I wouldn't be adding anything else to the tank. But, it's a very beautiful tank.
Welcome back!

hi guys, i don't think i'm overstocked .it's not a coventional 3ft tank as its quite tall plus i'm running a 2ft sump which only has a roll of matting shallow sand beds and a bit of crush coral. my display dimensions are 91x31x60 and sump is 61x31x36 about 240 liters no?

and as for the lucky bugger that gets the house. yes the tank comes with it.

tank is about 4 months old so it's pretty new. these pics are from original planting and 2-3months later just to show how the plants are thriving and the general progress of the tank. this used to be a marine tank in the flat i was renting, i converted to fresh water and built it into/onto the kitchen counter when i moved into my new home. soooo much easier than SW and gentle on the pocket
