just switched my 4 corys and 1pictus into a 10 gallon tank, bought a few things for it and set it up all nicely, i just realized that there is a little bit of water coming from under the tank. seems like the water level hasnt dropped and i tested it to be fine. not sure if its excess water because i just washed it and set it up or not. any advice?
It should just be condensation water since u just finished washing it tho if it continues to leak after a long period of time, a day perhaps, then check for a leak. A quick question-was this tank cycled before u you washed it? Just curious if u dont mind.
i had them in a 5 gallon for about a week, than switched to this 10 gallon , put most of the 5gallon water in it and some more de-chlorinized tap and diluted with some distilled water. and i checked and it is a leak on one of the sides. i just pushed the side over the counter and applied silicone, water is still slightly dripping but.. ill see what it looks like tomrow morning. if water still dripping , i will take out the fish and apply more silicone when it is dry
