I bought a plant that shipped with a tiny snail on it. I didn't think much of it except, "cool, another snail" at the time. I have a large tiger nirite snail in the tank anyway.
Little did a know that the tiny little snail would soon turn into 2, then 4, and last I counted 11. So now I have 11 tiny little snails creeping around.
I don't mind a whole lot, except that I have a 10 gallon tank. At this rate, it won't take long before they've overtaken it, right?
I've read some tips on how to get rid of them (vegetables in the tank overnight=snail magnet), but my question is....what do I do with them then?
I feel kind of bad just flushing them or squashing them. Should I feel bad? I would feel bad killing my nirite snail (in fact I did kill a mystery snail by accident once, and I felt awful).
