Turquoise Rainbow would this work...

I would like to add a group of these to my 55 gallon if you guys think it would work how many should I add? It is heavily planted and the current stock are as follows:
2 Honey Sunset Gourami
2 Peacock Gudgeon
3 Corydorus Duplicaerus
4 Albino Corydorus
6 Golden Barb
10 Neon Tetras
10 Harleguin Rasbora
3 Flame Tetra

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

I think you could do it, but it would a heavily stocked tank (especially if you fill out the flame tetra school). The rainbows have a fairly large bioload, but the rest of the fish have a smaller bioload.

What do you have for filtration?

125 - BGK, chanchito cichlid, pictus cats, silver dollars, palmas bichir
125 - cichlids (severums, bolivian rams, chocolate), rainbows ( turquoise, red), loaches (angelicus, zebra, kuhli and horseface), plecos (BN, RL and clown), denison barbs, tiretrack eel, pearl gouramis, betta
90 - Congo tetras, african knife, upside down cats, spotted ctenopoma, kribensis, delhezzi bichir
2.5 - betta
