Traveling to pick up fish

So in just little over a week I found a store that carries Dwarf Puffers which I'm looking to buy. The travel distance time is ~45-1hr depending on traffic. Is there anything special I should I do to keep them warm?

Depends on how fancy you want to get...
Get one of those insulated food bags that you can get at some supermarkets.
If the seat heats up, use that on occasion and keep the car @ 80 degrees..
I have a small inverter, a small bucket with a screw on lid, and a small heater. That works like a charm.

Styrofoam box it if its less than an hour. Get a styrofoam box, get the fish in a bag, put bag in box, close box. The Styrofoam should keep the water from cooling too much in that time period. If its going to be more than an hour - hour and a half, invest in a heat pack and check the temp once in a while, leaving the box top open will help disseminate heat if the heatpack is too warm.
