so, I recently adopted/rescued two angelfish, a swordtail, and a bronze cory from people keeping them in a 5 gallon tank. Now, they have joined my 29 gallon tank, and i think they are enjoying the space.
But i think I have a problem with the stocking.
I've got 8 zebra danios in there, along with a shoal of bronze cories and a bristlze nose pleco, plus the rescues. The danios are and have always been wild crazy fish, and fully utilize the entire 29 gallon. but when I read about the angels, and found that zebra danios were not a good companion for them, I started to get worried.
The angels have been here since saturday 9/1, and I think i sense some aggression between the angels. I was wondering if removing the zebra danios would help alleviate a bit of that?
i think i will probably have to trade with/donate them (the danios) to the pet store. i hate to do it, but the tank temperature is not quite right for the danios, and i know my family prefer the angels. i don't have another appropriate tank for the danios, and I know the 29 isn't perfect for the angels either, but i am hoping the two filters, and the addition of more plants (particularly floating plants) might help with that.
i like my danios, but i love the angels....but the danios were here first....idk. help?
