Tiny Bubbles on top of water?

What are the tiny bubbles that are formong on the top of the water in my aquarium? They came overnight.

What kind of fish are in the tank? Some fish build nests by blowing bubbles.

Also, if your water is aerated, which it should be, then the tiny bubbles might just be air bubbles rising to the surface and not breaking.

I think it was the latter as they disappeared a few hour later and have not returned.
Thanks. It was a new setup and I haven't done this for many years.
