I think you may have mistaken the species; pygmy cory and sparkling gourami are mentioned in this thread, and they are both OK in a 5g. which I did mention in the respective profile. The larger (average) cory or gourami species, definitely not. Just to clarify.

OK.. how did I miss that. It does very clearly state that they are good in a 5 gallon... you and your experience/knowledge :P

Sorry I haven't been posting very much in this thread my keyboard broke a few days ago.

I just wanted to thank everyone again for all the help and information though. The 5g tank I was talking about original housed a beta who decided to jump out of the tank and when found was still alive but died the following day I decided to just go with another beta because I really like them. I'm still planning on a possible nano tank though in the near future but it will be in a 10g instead. Just don't feel ready to go making purchases yet still want to do some more research. Thanks again everyone
