is there a tool for finding good fish for my water?

Hi all,

I used to have a tropical fish tank years ago, but have forgotten most of what I once knew. Now that I have some free time, and some space in my apartment to have a tank, I'd like to setup a 10 gal tank.

Is there a tool to help me find good community-oriented fish based on the water that I currently have? For example, maybe a list of good beginner fish for water temps of 75-f, high PH.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hmm since you have a high PH, platies, guppies, and swordtails are a good choice, they seem to like a higher ph and are good begginer fish

African cichlids. Maybe julies.
