My LFS said there was issues with getting clown loaches too... I"m not sure if there is something going on nationally, though.

I'm sorry to inform you, but they sent them all where I live.

None of my LFS usually have any loaches but clown loaches. The other day they had yo-yo loaches. After recovering myself from shock, I double checked, looked at the fish, the labels, the fish again and then grabbed three immediately. I thought I was going to have to mail order them.

Well thats just strange then. They said "They have not been available to order" the last couple of shipments. I don't know what that means really. Not sure how it works for how stores get fish.

I guess the next question is, does anyone know of a reliable sage online fish store?

Well if you want the best price, I would use Aquabid.
As long as you check their feedback, you can find a good dealer.

(see if Lotsoffish has any! she's great.)

I had problems finding ottos once and I finally found out that the local breeder had some sort of disease that broke out so they were unable to sell them to any of the LFS places.

Or, if you've got cold weather, sometimes they don't want to transport them.
