Well I'm going to try and add my first two pics of the new, not set up tank. In the pics, you can see some of the wood still floating, one piece has come down and I'm waiting for the others. I started dosing with Excel from day one and now I'm into day four. You can see something of the cloudiness which is clearing somewhat but there is tannins in the water even though I did boil the wood.

Anyways first pic is of the tank in general:


Second pics is a closer look at the tank, still not planted but waiting for wood to settle:


Anyways so far everything is good. I did get an out break of some white slime, which I was warned about on my Manzinita wood. I have cleaned it off.

well i don't think it's bad at all !
yes it will look better once settled,but i think you have an eye for
aquscaping,and it's going to look awsome.
