Tetra Tank

So I'm selling my angel and loaches due to tank restrictions and not upgrading now . (money issues)

I have 6 blood-fin tetra, 6 black phantom tetra, and 6 danios once the other 3 fish are gone.

I am trying to figure out what else to add, thinking a group of cory's for the bottom, just not sure which ones yet.

Also thinking about adding a group of 10 neons.

Anyone have any suggestions of what to add to my tank?

Tank:

Water parameters:

All readings good

Temp: 78, but can change it due to newly introduced fish.

29 gallon

plenty of filtration

fake plants.

Thanks in advanced.

Pat

Why not add to the three schools you have? All of those are schooling fish and while they will band together most are happier with more of their own kind. These guys do have fairly low bioloads but more than 3 or 4 fish and you'll need to upgrade filtration.

The corydoras are a good idea. How about a group of 5-6 of those, and maybe a dwarf cichlid of some kind as a centerpiece fish?

That's more what I was thinking. I like having a larger fish, but then again, the neons are appealing to me too. Maybe a convict? Anyone have any suggestions of dwarfs?

I'm not sure a convict would mix well with the tetras in your tank. if you're thinking about mixing in a mild-mannered cichlid, you could try the kribensis fish (seen in my profile pic) or you could go with 1 or 2 bolivan rams??

What did you spend on your kribs? I'm just trying to see pricing for things.
