Tank Size Upgrade

So I have an established 55gal. I just bought a 115gal tank and stand. What would be the best way and fastest way to get the fish transfured over?

Right now the new tank (115gal) is empty doesnt even have any rocks or water.

Do you intend having live plants? This makes a big difference in cycling issues.

Will the substrate be completely new or are you moving over the substrate material from the 55g as well as new?

Do you have a spare tank for the fish while this is going on, assuming the substrate is being moved; if it is all new, then this is not an issue as the fish can stay in the 55g until the new tank is setup.

I'm not sure thats why its sitting empty now. Would it be best to use the rocks I have now or start all over? I currently have two 18 inch 50/50 bulbs and live plants in the 55 gal now. If I use the old rocks and buy new plants would that speed up the cycle?

The 55 gal has 75llbs mixed gravel. 50lbs large river rocks, and 25lbs small gravel. I don't want to use the big rocks for some fish like to burrow in the substright. I just want to do this a quickly as possable.

If you use the old substrate and move the filter from the 55 gallon over that would speed up your cycle. I did something similar when I upgraded from a 20 gallon to a 55. Although, I did use new substrate because the gravel in my 20 was 15 years old and full of algae. I set the tank up, brought the water up to temp, tested the Ph to make sure it was same as the old tank then moved my filters and fish over. I tested the water daily for the next week or so and never saw a mini cycle but I only had 2 fish to move over (a young severum and a pleco).
