Sorry to beat a dead horse here, but I just wanted to ask one more time because I will be finally setting this up and filling the tank this weekend when everything I need for it gets here. I have been searching around for info about putting foam under the tank, and it seems I have found that it is recommended to put foam under acrylic tanks and under glass tanks where the glass sits directly on the stand. But then I found a lot of posts and info where it says not to put it under glass tanks that have the plastic frame around it, because it could compress and sink down so the glass is sitting on the foam, or if it is heavier in one side of the tank than another, it could cause that side to compress more and make the tank unlevel. Just wanted to hear some more thoughts on this, and if I should slide thin shims under the middle part of the tank at all to support that gap. I will be so glad when I get this set up so I can stop worrying about this! Thanks.
