i really dont know, you need to ask someone else. i don't think space would be an issue, 94 liters is plenty for such a small fish, but i once had two pearl gouramis, and i'm pretty sure they were both females, because neither of them had the flowing fins of a male gourami. anyway they were ok when they were young, but after i'd had them for a while, they started fighting so badly i had to remove one of them. so, yeah....

I have three Dwarf Gouramis in my 30 gallon tank and they seem to get along well. A scuffle occasionally to keep territory straight, but nothing unhealthy. All the Honeys I've seen have been much smaller. I think you could easily do more than one of them.

thats interesting. i guess more space helps. just out of interest how many liters is 30 gallons? and i guess it's heavily planted?

Google is telling me that 30 gallons is 113 liters. So not too far off. It's planted with live plants with the intent that it grows in to a fairly heavy job. Right now I'd say it's well but not heavily planted.

The profiles for the two suggest that Honeys get to 2" and the Dwarfs reach 2.5 to 3" depending on sex.

I'd say you can definitely pull a trio of Honeys. They're usually more docile than others from my understanding anyway. Just...as always...be prepared to remove anyone who decides to be a problem. From the Honey Gourami Profile:

Quote:
Peaceful and suited to a community aquarium of smaller non-aggressive fishes. Can be kept in a small group in a 20g or larger, although males will become territorial when spawning.

I don't know how that'd go down. It might work beautifully. The dwarf might pick on the honeys though if it decides it doesn't like them. Especially if it turns out to be a mean boy.

I've got nothing for you there. Everything else looks good though.
