I have had a 45gal. aggressive cichlid community in the past. The fish were great but the tank was not, it leaked (Regards to topfin) and had some pretty bad calcification. Now a few years later I want to get back into the game, but I want to go bigger. I have been playing with the idea of a 60-75gal. fresh water. I have a few questions for those that are wise out there. My last tank was a tall glass pentagon, I have heard arguments from both sides of the glass/acrylic debate, I as any other college student, am on a budget but I want a good tank. I live in an upstairs apartment and I can't have too much weight. Is a all-in-one tank a good idea...Jebbo, AquaPod??? A local fish store has a deal on a 75gal. glass tank with stand and canopy for $385...the tank is American built? I think. What would a 60-75gal. acrylic run? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both. Any advise is welcome...you guys helped in the past so I'm back for more.
