i have a 40 gallon breeder tank and was wondering how much weight the bottom could hold. i want to add rocks to make several caves and hiding spots but dont want to over do it. thanks!
Unless the bottom is cracked or something (at which point you have bigger problems) you should feel free to go nuts. Make sure everything's on a solid stand. Water is REALLY heavy. Given the dimensions of the tank, you probably couldn't fill it with enough rock or wood to cause the bottom to break out.
good i hope not i plan on putting some rocks in it and it will take several to do what i want.
