Swordtails in a 15 gal?

Hi! I recently bought a 15 gallon tank and was wondering if I had enough room for a few swordtails in it. I know that I'm going to have a few guppies (3-5), and I'm getting a male dalmation molly from my friend so I was thinking of buying a female so he wouldn't be lonely... with the guppies and the two mollies, would I have enough space for the swordtails? I know I would need a few females to go with the male so he wouldn't harass them too much, so I don't know if a 15 gallon is big enough...
This might be a stupid question but I haven't had fish since I was little, and then my mom took care of everything. :P

I plan to breed them a later date when I have more/bigger tanks so I've been gathering information, but for now if the babies die then they die... if they survive and there are too many I'll find a store to give them to.

Thanks!

Swordtail should have more room, at least a 30-inch tank. They will grow (if healthy and they live) to 5-6 inches and need swimming space.

We have profiles here, with this sort of info included. Second tab from the left in the blue bar across the top of the page, or in posts if the name shades click on the name, example Swordtail.

Be careful on male/female with livebearers (like molly, guppy, swordtail, platy). You will have hundreds of fry continually, and this will quickly overpower the biology in a smallish tank.

And, welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

Byron.
