So I have a 30 gallon set-up and I just bought a volcano/airstone decoration not too long ago but it doesn't provide enough aeration for the entire tank. I still have the previous airstone skirt from before the purchase. The air pump I have now has one outlet, so I need to buy supplies to turn that one outlet into 2...From my homework, I think I need a metal T-Valve, a Check valve and tubing...but don't i need two seperate things of tubing, or one long tubing i cut in half? so that i would have a spot for the check valve? All these gadgets are so confusing, and i dont even want to get into gang valves, I have no idea what they are or do.....please someone help so I know what to get when I go shopping today!

Were it me, I would get an airpump with two outlet's ,one for each airstone, curtain, etc.(walmart )
I would do this because most(not all) one outlet air pumps, have trouble with providing sufficient air to run two airstones.
I would purchase two check valves and splice them one each, into each airline, with the arrow on check valve pointing towrds the airstone, curtain, volcano, etc.
Would purchase 10 or 20 feet of airline tubing, but try not to make the tubing too long for pumps must work harder the longer the tubing is.
Might also consider some styrofoam, or bubble wrap to place the air pump on, to help silence the pumps a little bit.

I'm kind of working on a budget today, and the available air pumps in my area are over 15$. I have to work with the pump I already have, plus I'm running out of outlets on my power strip, and my wall lol. I was looking at gang valves and saw that you're right, there is a problem with running sufficient air supply to both stones, especially since the volcano airstone is only an inch, and is being bled right now, whereas the curtain is 6 inches. The current tubing I have with the current air pump already came with a check valve, so that's why I said i was thinking i would only need to purchase 1 new check valve and one new thing of tubing, sorry for not including that earlier, whoops lol. Looks like Ill only be able to get the 8 ft tubing, would that be a problem?
