Strange drift wood

I seem to have bought jati driftn wood. It Sinks and it is not making the water in the bucket its in yellow . it cost me 5 euro and is around 1.5 feet long. It was heavy before I wet it but it seemed dry . it was bagged like from a factory. Some of the other pieces were like this too but others were light . can I add it after I pour some boiling water over it ? Is it aquarium ready ?

It might be ready.. but to be on the safe side, boiling it in a pot with water for a few hours is a pretty good idea. It will help remove tannins or any contaminants.

Sounds good! So far, so good. Then yes, it will be safe to add the driftwood to the tank. :)

You can't from the mobile site here unless you upload it to a photo share site first like photovucket. Then post the link here on your thread. If your phone can switch to the full site then you should be about to it from your phone by going to new post. Scroll down to the bottom of the page till you see manage attachments. Click it then you can add a pic there.
