Talking stocking a 75 gallon

Suggestions please? Want to start a list of fish (and plants, maybe in another thread, but feel free to add those too!) for my 75 gallon.

It will be heavily planted using Turface as a substrate. My pH usually hovers in the high 7's (7.6-7.8).

Stocking list so far:

Amano Shrimp
Tiger Shrimp
Yo yo botias (hoping to add 5 to my group of 3)
Synodontis petricola (5-6)
albino longfin bn pleco (if i can find one)
(can you tell i favor the bottom dwellers?)

I'd like to add a species of goby. I'm drawn to the Stiphodon percnopterygionus

I'd also like to add a type of Ram that would be suitable for a peaceful community tank

I have no idea what fish to add for the upper part of the tank. I love bottom-dwellers like loaches and gobies. I'm not a big neon person but do like schooling fish. I am also considering jelly bean tetras.

Thanks in advance for input on the list!

Your yoyos are going to love those shrimp, as in yum-yum. The Bolivian Ram will work just fine in your tank. Ever considered Congo Tetras? Beautiful fish and they school in the upper level.

+1 for the congo tetras

German Blue Rams would be good.

You could also go with Angelfish or Discus would do well in a 75 gallon.

How about Rainbowfish?

My submission for fish is Silver tip Tetras. I can't put in to words how fun they are. Pristella Tetras may be my next fish. If you want some real fun and active Tetras and not the shy scared little meek Tetras Silver tips are the way.

Plants: For sure Ludwigia Natans, Ech.' Ozelot' Sword. ;) Rotala Indica (Rotala Rotundifolia)
I've taken a huge liking for stem plants. That's why I be recommending ya some. ;)

thanks, y'all. yes, looked at congo tetras and i'd rather that specific fish not be the "large" fish in the tank.

and yes, the yo-yo's try to get my cherry shrimp as well (they stay away from the amanos for the most part, at least the big amanos) and my cherries are breeding like crazy and the colony continues to grow. For the most part i think as long as i keep them well fed they are more or less subdued. I guess i'll have to put the shrimp in there with the yo-yo's with that risk in mind for sure. Or just keep them in the tank they are in now and be done with it, lol.

I'l have to research all of these suggestions, as most of them are unfamiliar. Thanks, guys!

How about a school of hatchets for up top? You don't see enough hatchets.
