I am going to use the tank in the future for a babys tank, but the plants that i am putting in there are .... betta bulbs, waterlily, onion, barclaya, apongeton.
not sure on lighting, subsrate stones might do sand though, and just going to use it for a quartine tank, and for raising babys which i just had, which i will move in there after the nitrujen cycle
Probably wouldn't put live plants in a tank that will be used for quarantine. At some pont it may be necessary to treat the fish in quarantine with medications that may kill the plants. You could always use a rubbermaid tub for quarantine with a heater and sponge filter.
