Thanks Byron! Like I said up top, never had the Otocinclus others then in well established tank, that's why they'd simply out of that exp not be my first choice right now, later on I'd like to get a group of 4-5

Well that's my 'hick up' point if you will, thou I pretty much maxed out the gravel spaces and planted all but maybe a "free" 10% of the ground space, and the plants have since taken off well (spc the Ludwiga) they're not very tall yet, they're all about 10-12" now, so personally I'd also not consider it 'well planted' like my former grown jungles THAT was well planted

I thought about starting with ONE school of the the fish I want and see what I can find at the store and then do daily water checks to see any additional N-Peaks if any right away so I could do w/c right away.

I think really what makes me so insecure on these new tanks, all my former 'new tanks' except for the very 1st one always were set up with filter media from the prior running, established tank and that way worked wonderful for me. Now here starting 3 tanks from scratch, obviously I don't have that luxury and I know there'll be lots people out there reading this now "why don't she just dump all the fish in now" but I'm not the kinda "testing" person when it comes to fish I'm sorry.

I did it I actually do have fishy's in the house again FINALLY. Fortunately or unfortunately the question over who'd move in first was QUICKLY eliminated once I arrived at the store...
I had previously narrowed my wish list down to: Cardinal, Emperor, Silver Hachet, Blue Tetra or Dawn Tera, Rummy nose, Cory's & Otto's....

What I found today were only Cardinal and Rummy's. So I got 5 each (which then around Xmas time will get stocked up to 15 Cardinal and 10 Rummy). The Cardinal moved into the 55g (which is to become the tetra tank) and the Rummy moved in to the 45g

Thou it was a little scary earlier just really cause I hadn't stocked a tank from scratch in longer then forever it is soooooo exciting watching fish again I could swing back & forth between both rooms with the tanks and just watch fish for the rest of the evening now....I'm excited like a kid on Christmas. Now I just pray everything will go well. all water tests before the fish went in came back 0 (Ammonia, NO2, NO3) so let's hope it'll stay this way

I'm soooo happy
