Just upgraded my 20 gallon community to a 36 gallon. It is heavy planted and full of driftwood. I'm using Eco-complete planted substrate

Current fish:

Mated pair of Key-hole Cichlids

8 Cardinal Tetras
5 Marbled Hatchetfish
4 Skirt Tetras
1 Gold Nugget Pleco
1 Black Spot Pleco

3 Tiger Nerite Snails

MTSs

I wanted to add something else. Maybe some panda corys? any other suggestions please

With the waste created by the two plecos, they would easily count as a dozen of the tetra's and I would not add any more fish for that reason. You have plenty of fish in my view for the 36 gallon tank.
Do be aware that the Gold nugget Plecos do not always tolerate other Plecos .Would see that both Plecos have proper foods and numerous places to hide(ie) driftwood ,smooth rock caves, etc.

I povided 2 rock caves on each side of the tank so that they would have a place to hide in the day. I will just keep the fish I have until I upgrade again
