Talking Soooo guess what...

Well so I had to go make a utterly senseless trip to Nashville today (legal headaches) which is 3hrs drive one way, so I figured I'd make that fun while there....thanks to one of our new members 'Randy' I had a nice address on hand.
For starters after dealing with the lawyer I went to guys have no idea, I used to be a popeyes addict till we moved where there is NON...nedless to say the gal behind the counter turned pretty speechless when I ordered anything & everything a vegetarian will eat there and a large of all (i'm a short small gal) it was soooooooooooooooo good

Anyway so then I went off to the address Randy gave me DANGGGGG they are a real good sized fish store with a great selection (more saltwater then freshwater but still good).

Well and walking around looking then sorta eliminated the not being able to decide for my 55g ...I got 8 Albino Tiger Barbs (they're dang colorful actually the only "albino" is the white strips between the orange coloration) and 8 Bronze Cory. These will soon move in with the 2 Kissing Gourami in the 55g

Oh I am soooooo happy I have fishy for my 55g FINALLY and they're soooo cute - They tent to jump a lot, but this may have only been due to transport and stress I donno (never had Albino Tigers before).
And the Cory's....they're a Cory gals dream come true, so healthy and big grown good looking, wonderful; they're cutting about 2" now so they're not fully grown yet but dang big already, I'm lovinggggg them too.

So if any of ya'll ever are taking a trip to Nashville, you'll need to stop there (PS they have a Gator "tank" too had to pry hubby off of it 3 times - Then he found this gigantic sting ray tank.....)

Alright lemme get off here stare at them again.....

Update: They're actually 9 Albion Tigers not 8...someone netted 1 too many there
They're too cool looking, can't wait to turn the lights back on and watch them active (keeping lights off on new fish for lil while to help with the stress).
@Lisa - They can do much longer then that, think of overnight deliveries, shipment to stores etc. I had them bag them real good and 3 fish per bag aired up and then into my fishy Styrofoam box the went, buckled up in the back seat LOL

Sounds like fun! I will have to look those fish up. I love going to fish stores. I wish we had more up here though. Only one LFS and then we have Petsmart and Petco and two saltwater stores (one not being all that great). I cannot wait to get my fish!

Do you put them in a quarantine tank before you put them in your main tank? If so, how long?

No honestly, I always have 3 things in my jeep (well actually more then that but the main parts):
1) Hook ups for 2 dogs with extra leashes too
2) a large plastic container for lil nick nacks I find that shouldn't fly around the Jeep while driving
3) a Styrofoam "cooler" (you know them things from Walmart) to either keep fish cool or warm dep on what time the year I'm on the Rd and go "Uh look at that fish store there" I also find this vs transport home in the bag only keeps them a lil more stress free cause its dark in there and less shaky then laying in my legs only.
