Here are a couple pictures of Sailor the sailfin Pleco

And a couple Guppy shots

Family photo

This one just sort of cracks me up. She reminds me of Dora from Nemo. "HELLOOOOOO" You know, like she is talking to whales? lol

I am still struggling to get any decent shots of my elusive but beautiful Rainbow shark and my Gourami that insists on staring straight at the camera or away from it. lol

This just in.... The World Premier Ballet company to hire "Cori Dora" in the production of The Nutcracker.

The Elusive Mr. Rainbow Shark, In his Oscar Award winning performance Of "Peek-a-Boo"

and finally in Peek-a-Boo 2 "BUSTED!"

The Most Beautiful Blue Gourmi playing "You can't see me"

I really need to work on getting some good photo's of these fish. I just love watching them but do not have the patience to sit there with a camera waiting for them to pose. Especially the elusive Shark. Anyhow, those are some of my fishy friends. Now...Where are yours?

Bad Angel. That was sort of the point of the comment above the picture. I cannot capture this fish in a decent picture. She is either facing straight on or running away from the picture. She is quite healthy though. :) I also cannot capture her true color. She is the most lovely shade of blue and when I take her picture she looks washed out and dingy. :( Poor gal, no wonder she hides from the camera.

Ha Ha Yeah, she sure is. I have been expecting her to have babies for quite some time. There is a male in there as well and she has a Guppy suitor as well. About 90% of the time she is swimming about with the Blue Guppy. At first I thought that she was just being pestered by him but I see that she swims toward him as well so... Guess they are "just friends?"

Thanks for the complements. I think the sailfin is pretty as well but I also think he looks half starved. They come from the store that way, of course. For now he is in the 25 gallon. There should be enough in there to keep him going for awhile. Then I will move him to the bigger tank.

I really need to be patient and work on getting better shark and Gourami pictures. I think the shark looks sick in the photos but I think mostly because I had to lighten the picture up so much. It is too dark where he hangs out most to get a decent shot so I just snapped it and then lightened it up. :dunno: Don't know how I will get a better shot of either of them but if there is a will, there is a way, right? I thought about cliping on a brighter light above the water but... he won't come out of his log then. Darn elusive fish.

Show Off! ;-) Very pretty fish. Granted I am partial to my blue fish but.. Your's is nice too and apparently more cooperative. I will keep at it though and someday, I will catch the little stinker. She likes to stare right at me and a front show, is not what I am looking for. lol

Haha...yeah, I know what you mean. I've been so wanting to get a current pic of my Ctenopoma but she's so reclusive. When she does come out by the time I grab my camera she's back in her hiding spot again.

That's just the thing. They are always out there until you are ready with the camera. Well, not my shark. He is anti social with people.

No kidding! I took my dog to Hydro therapy and wanted some pictures of him in action. I must have snapped 100 or better shots. People were looking at me like I was nuts but... I can get rid of most of them.

After all that, the room was still too small to get a decent angle and the lighting bad. Well, I got a shot that is good enough but not what I was hoping for.

Now... On to my Gourami. You will be stunned by how shockingly beautiful she is if I can ever get it. ha ha

Beautiful Rottie. Why is he in hydro therapy?? He really is enjoying it. :)

Your gourami is gorgeous, great job at getting the camera to go off in time!!

Thanks Kymmie I think she is lovely too but I would like a better picture of her someday. Today, I tried for like 5 minutes. I just don't have the patience to sit there and wait for her to swim into the lighter area of the tank for a photo. lol

Oliver my Rottie is a rescue boy. I have had him for 5 years now. He had a broken jaw and leg when I got him at 5 months old. He was brought in to be euthanized but I got him instead. His poor leg has had some issues and last year he tore his CCL (ACL in humans) The vet said, we could try resting it and maybe it would heal enough without surgery. It got a lot better but then, he ran an it snapped. He had a 100% tear and also a torn meniscus. He had a TPLO surgery to heal it. I am now topping the $5,000. mark for surgery on this leg this time and his therapy. No sense in doing all this and not doing the therapy to get him stronger.

You can see his sad little shaved leg in the photo. This is exactly 3 weeks after surgery. He is still very sore but I am hopeful. He is truly the sweetest boy in the world. He would gently nibble the earlobes of any stranger while sitting on their lap. :)

Thank you! He was my constant comfort when I was going through Chemo and Radation myself. I couldn't hardly NOT help him. It is a huge financial struggle right now but... I can't let him go. He is only 5 1/2 years old.

At 5 1/2 years of age it's a no brainer, you do what you have to do for your boy!
My good friend's boxer just had the TPLO surgery and Gracie is now doing great. Oliver will too.
He looks like a HUGE love. :love2:

Ha Ha Yeah, I understand where you are coming from. Lots of foolish people out there who own these dogs and don't train or socialize them. In my 34 years of owning this breed, I have never known one that was a problem. I have done rescue for so long and took dogs out of unimagineable situations. In time, even they became fabulous pets. I personally love the breed and can't imagine a better family dog but I train them and treat them well. :) Oh, and you are right, Oliver is love in a black and tan suit. :)
