Snailes coming on plants or in Freshwater Substrates

I was wonder if you have ever seen snails come in on store plants or in substrates.

You'll find pest snails or their eggs on almost any plant you purchase at a store. I've never heard of them in substrate.

It's pretty common to get snail hitchhikers on plants. I found several on my plants and when they were large enough, I chucked them from the tank. Hopefully the Kuhlis remove any possible snail babies.

The female won't carry her babies. They may crawl over her though. It very well be males on top trying to mate.

every time i buy s new plant, the next morning there will be one little hitchhiker snail on the glass. i just let them crawl up my net and place them outside.
