Slime?

I have a large piece of driftwood in my tank and it has this very heavy slightly clear slime all over it, is this algae? How can I get rid of it?

Welcome to Fishforum.com.

What kind of driftwood is it? Did you boil it? Certain types of woods will produce molds/fungus.

Hi, Thank you, I am not sure what kind of driftwood it is I got it from petco. No i did not boil it, should i have?
