shutting down a system

hay :)
i have shut down the juwel rekord 96.
given it a good clean ready for storage,
the thing i'm wondering is this,
how long do you thnk it will take for it all to dry
out properly,as in the filter(striped down)sponges and
ceramic rings. ?
This is all sitting in the sunshine at the moment.
thanks. :)

I shouldn't imagine that it would take too long. Do you have the original internal filter housing in place that came with the tank, or or did you scrape the box off and opt for a different filter?

hi kate
i took the original filter off,and i'm running
a little fluval 105.
Well scrap what i've said up there,as it;s all back together again today
am i going nuts Yes,yes i am.
i have used filte sponges and ceramic rings from the big tank
to use on the little filter.
This time it will be the large tank shutting down, soon.
i will be keeping a couple of the fish, the rest will go to the LFS,
and the big tank is gong to be the Marine tank.
that's it,the final decision,no turning back,nope.
i'm going shopping for power heads and skimmers.!!!!!!
