Shells?

Is it advised to put shells in your tank? If I do will it mess with the PH? I have some fairly attractive large shells i was thinking of droppin in the ole tank but I can get a straight answer from the local store. Thanks.

Nope. They'll increase your pH and hardness levels. Besides, they look out of the freshwater aquaria's league.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.
