Question Shelf life of thawed frozen food

At the moment I only have 7 fish (platys), I expect to get about six more this week. Will this addition tend to cause a mini cycle in my 29 gal tank? Tank is cycled has been running for several months. Ammonia and nitrites zero, Nitrate 5 ppm, ph 7.8. Tap water is listed as 6.5 - 8.0.

Second question - How long can thawed frozen foods be kept in the fridge? I feed them as treats so it tends to take more than a day or two use up a single cube.

What frozen food? The short answer is it spoils FAST!
I just use a small knife to cut off chunks or split cubes and keep the rest in the freezer.
If it's tough stuff, you can put it in a plastic bag and try breaking it into small chunks using a hammer!

18 species/varieties of fish, 15 species/varieties of plants - The fish are finally ahead of the plants!
*560 gallons (2120 liters) in 5 tanks -> you do the math.
