sharks teeth in aquarium ok????

Putting sharks teeth in for decoration ring a bell with anyone as a bad idea???

the only disadvantage maybe perhaps a hazard
if they are sharp,maybe causing injury ?

I think that teeth, bones and deer antlers would all be very similar in this situation. There is already a post about deer antlers:

Urethane or Marine Epoxy would be the best bet to seal them and make them last. I think they would erode very quickly in most tanks. Also as stated, they could cause serious harm to any over active bottom dweller.

That's also a weird decor. Depending on the hardness levels, it will quickly disintegrate as Chris mentioned.
