settling tank

I'm considering purchasing a 100 gallon plastic tank to store water in for water changes on my cichlid tanks. I'm wondering if I should mix my lake salt in the tank when I fill it with tap water or wait until I add the water to the tanks.

I don't see that there would be any harm in pre-mixing it.
