Sandbed moving because of water pump
There is a slight problem with my tank setup, currently I have 2 water pumps. One is at the top, the issue isn't with that one. But rather its the bottom water pump I have. It is pushing away my sandbed because it is too strong. I have this, it lets me adjust the strength of the pump itself but I set it to lowest and it is still a little too strong, just enough to move my sandbed. My sandbed is like 1 inch, and the main reason it is doing this (while the other one doesn't) is because the pump is directed from the back to the front, which means (with most tanks, it is the same) my width is shorter than my length so there isn't enough space for it to dim down the power of the pump before it hits the glass and therefore moves my sandbed.
I have tried angled it upward but it is still doing the same thing, does anyone have any suggestion for me?
I can try putting it on the side and let it shoot (length wise) but then it will create a water current which I dont really think it is the best for my fish.
100 gallon tank
<--------------------------------------------> pump (one) at the top of the tank
^(back, near the bottom)
V (front of the glass)
Also, I tried to put something to divert the flow but it seems like it just pushes out whatever I try to stuck infront of it.
