I used to have a tank that I used slate to make terraces. The angels used the slate to deposit their eggs, the cories used to use the out croppings as resting areas. As time passed an algae growth settled in and gave the whole seen an added dimension. It was really a neat tank. I think I'll do it again soon. By the way, $.22 a pound is a fair price for slate. Good job. And thanks for the inspiration to do it again.
The lfs had the same stuff for $3.99 a pound! Now I have some rock and 5 caves, Plucky's gone and so are the guppies...I'm almost ready for my apistos!!!!!!!!!
Landscaping places are the best. Their selection is a heck of a lot better too
