Repairing leaky seals

I just found a 29 gallon aquarium with lid and stand for $10 on craigslist. It is so cheap because one of the seals is leaking. The glass is not cracked. If I repair it will it still be completely safe? I am thinking I should go for it, but I just want to make sure. Thanks.

hi
i'm sure you can re seal the tank with aquarium silicon.
leave the tank for a coup[le of days to give the silicon time
to really dry before you use the tank.
:)
