rehomed puffer fish

so i just re-homed my green spotted puffer fish. in a way i was happy to see them go (cause they are going to a brackish water tank and eventually a salt water tank) the person who got them was really excited to get them and even drove 1.5 hours one way to get them. they have also agreed to send me pictures to give me updates on my babies and let me know how they acclimate and adjust to their new 40 gallon home! they will be the only two in the tank and it is planted and ready to go! every excited and happy for them. also a little sad to not see them in my tank, but i knew they would have to be re-homed. was very happy to have rescued them when i did. it's a good feeling :)

Good for you! I'm sure they'll get good care.

yes they will. i made sure that the person knew how to care for them and had the proper set up before i gave the pair away. i didn't want them to be worse off from where they were with me. they were getting to the size where they need brackish water. i can't wait for my first email of pics to see them in their new home! :) i tried to make their trip as stress free as possible....i did a 50 percent water change about two hours before they came. and caught them with the lights off, and they were packed in about a gallon and a half of water. and placed into a dark bag. one of the plasticy type of reuseable shopping bags, and had a towel on top to keep the warmth in so they wouldn't get a sudden rush of cold while going from the house to the car and vica versa.
