Cool redoing 20 tall??

So, i have been playing with the idea of completely redoing my 20 gallon tall....fish included. I currently have:

5 orange lyretail mollies (1 10 week old, 3 4 week olds, and 1 adult)
1 red balloon platy
3 albino corydoras
1 apple snail
and 1 BN pleco.....

I dont plan on getting rid of the fish, just moving them to another aquarium and doing something different with the 20 high....

i will keep the corys, BN, and possibly the snail in there and i want to get a couple more albino corydoras but i am unsure about what other fish i would like.....i want something with color and somthing active. i was thinking some sort of schooling fish but im not sure what kind would work in a smaller tank. I have black/white sand (mostly white) and currently unplanted.....i would like to plant it but then would possibly need to move the snail....any advice and input is welcome!!!

Where to are all the fish moving? The combo of fish is fine IMO with your water, just would really realy encourage you to stock the albino cory's to 6-8 (that's why I asked where to are they moving- is there enough room)?

Which leads directly to the next q: What's happening with the 20g then - Empty tank

no, no empty tanks here!!! I just want some more color.....my orange lyretail molly has taken over with all her fry so now i just have a bunch of orange mollies.....i do have 1 red balloon platy but thats all.....i have just aquired a new 10 gal that i moved my ADF and male betta into and i do have an empty 2.5 and 5 gal that i use as QT....im not sure yet i was just tossing the idea around. i was thinking a school of fancy tail male guppies but i think my water is too hard for them.......i wouldnt even mind getting more platies in different color varieties to give my tank some more color....def. was going to add 2-3 more albino corycats

So you're talking ALL these out and move them to a 10g? I think I'm confused and/ or partied too much last night, I'm sorry.
I donno your water paramters, but given the fact you have Molly & Platy...Guppys require most the same water (Ph 7-8 Hardness anywheres from 10-30)...

no i wasnt going to move them all to the 10. i was going to take the 3 youngest molly fry to the LFS or try to find some poor sap to take em off my hands lol. and im not sure what i was going to do with the other 2 mollies and platy. But i was going to keep the 3 current albino corycats plus 2-3 more in the 20 along with my BN pleco....then just try to figure out what other fish to put in.....

params:
ammonia 0ppm
nitrite 0ppm
nitrate 20ppm
ph7.6
gh 21
kh10-11
temp 78-80 deg f

Hmmmm.....how about this one:

Set up 10g for African Dwarf Frogs, like a nice group of them?

Take the 20g - Talk your LFS in taking all Mollies & platies off your hands leaving you with the pleco & Cory, stock the cory's up to 6 then have maybe something like Blue Rams or Barbs?
Or do something entirely different with it like set up and breed for Lemon Cichlids?

Really sorta kinda depends what YOU like really

LOL nice word ain't it

I think they're real nice too...but I gotta fiddle with my water somehow/ some way to have them, unless you wanna ship me supplies from your tap lol

Hmmm color & little for a 20g....ever considered Killi, like the one's here on my profile pic (they're A. Australe) I'd have to say they're about as colorful and bright as I think its gonna get in freshwater
