Red Wag Platy pregnant
i have a red wag that i believe is pregnant. she has gotten really fat lately. if she has fry about how many do they have? should i buy one of those barrier things to put her in till she has them? the other platys are following her around and seem to be agrivating her manly the sunset platty. i hope he's the daddy maybe they would make some cool babbies. any info would be great! heres some pics thanks!
She definatley is pregnant. If a livebearer is old enough to sex and its female it will most probably be pregnant!!! Lol. The breeding traps are not very good for the pregnant female, it stresses them out to much. Just make sure your tank is heavily planted. I have 2 pregnant platys and a breeder but i only put the babys i find in the breeding trap. Hope this helps a lil.

well she seems to be not as fat as she was. another platty and some of my guppies chase her around constantly. so she may have already had some and have gotten eaten : ( ive been keeping a eye on the tank looking for fry but havent seen any. hopefully a couple will make it.
