How big is the tank and what type of filtration are you running? What cichlids will you be putting in the tank. Also, african cichlids are vegetarians and most plants you put in will be eaten so make sure you research what plants work with the fish you are going to be putting in the tank.

I do like the look that you have achieved with your current set up.
