Questions on invertebrates (Clams and fiddler Crabs)

I Have a 55 Gallon tank and am kind of new to the whole fish keeping thing. I keep my PH at 7.9 and temp at 74-76. I have 8 freshwater clams (About the size of top necks) and two fiddler crabs (male and female). What I am looking to find out is can I add anything like calcium to the water to help healthy growth of the clams and crabs without affecting the PH and health of the other fish; Or should I leave well enough alone? Thanks in advance for any help!

What other fish do you have in there?
Calcium supplements should not be neccasarry.
I LOVE fiddler crabs. They are so cute and funny. They do prefer brackish, but fw is ok. Do you have land access? Fiddlers can't survive with no air access. I know land access is hard in big tanks, so if you don't have any, I know how to make something for them, I can explain it to you.
Oh, and make sure there are no gaps in your lid- they can and will escape. Mine did, and got stepped on. It was depressing. yeah, tight lids are good.
Sounds good from the info I have so far though!
Enjoy your fiddlers and clams!
