oh ok thank you, I will probably go with the pygmy ones then, are they fairly common? my petsmart has a huge selection of fish so they will probably have all the ones that I want.

I don't live in US.:( However, they don't seem fairly common here.

Be careful with the Elodea densa. It is invasive in the U.S. and is illegal in some states. The Java moss appears like a safe bet.
