With wisteria and/or pennywort and only 3 fish in a 10g I would not worry about ammonia--provided you have several stems of the plants of course.

As for quaratining fish, it used to be suggested that one week was sufficient, but this is only likely to bring something like ich to light. Three weeks is more reliable to ascertain any other issues.

Ok, so three weeks quarantine, got it. I also plan on feeding them the Jungle anti-parasite medicated food that I have already. I'm still waiting on the hood and the plants, but once I get everything set up I'll post pictures. Thank you, everyone, for your help. It is very much appreciated.
