Pescatori, welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

You received good advice from previous members' posts and you are off on the right track. Just so you know, as you are new, we have a fish profiles section, second tab from the left in the blue bar across the top of the page, or you can click on the fish or plant name when it is shaded in posts to see that profile. Example: Neon Tetra or the scientific name, Paracheirodon innesi.

Info on numbers needed, minimum tank sizes, water parameters, compatible fish, aquascaping, etc. for each fish is included in the profiles, so that is a good place to start before acquiring fish that may be unknown to you.
