I have a Whisper Power 10 filter that I am trying to use for a quarantine tank but since I am not going to be running any carbon filter for the meds I want to use the power filter for circulation and a faster working sponge filter. I have been around to a LFS and the regulars: petco and petsmart. But I cannot find anything that would work like you have in your grow out tank.
I found that at my Local fish store (Centreville aquarium). I have read on another forum that one can make an effective prefilter by getting an appropriately sized aquaclear sponge and cutting a slot down the center, then fitting that over the tube.
